WSC Week 3 Field Trip: VINS Nature Center in Quechee, VT on Thursday, 7-10-2025. We will explore their indoor and outdoor exhibits: 'Birds Are Dinosaurs', Raptors, Songbird Aviary, Adventure Playscape, Nature Trails, and the amazing Forest Canopy Walk!
Participants will be transported via RRD Bus. We will depart the Rec Center at 9:15am and return by 4:30pm at the latest.
Please drop off your participant(s) at the Rec Center by 8:45am.
Your Participant Will Need: A Wellington Summer Camp t-shirt (required for ALL field trips), a packed lunch & snacks, a water bottle, and comfortable shoes for being active in! Hats, sunglasses, etc. recommended. We will apply sunscreen before leaving.
This is a long bus ride; ~2 hours each way. Items for the bus such as comfort plushies/toys, coloring materials, games, etc. are encouraged! Electronics are allowed on the bus ride ONLY, and cannot be connected to the internet. Headphones required for music/sound.
